A proud diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Chandrakeerthi joined our team of highly skilled Periodontists. After close to 15 years of practicing as a Periodontist and Implant Surgeon in the states of Oregon and Georgia, Dr. Chandrakeerthi and his family relocated to Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Chandrakeerthi has made the study of Periodontology and Dental Implantology his life’s work. His background and specialization includes the more complex dental implant cases, bone grafting, sinus grafting, soft tissue tissue grafting and full arch rehabilitation.
Dr. Chandrakeerthi is passionate about teaching and educating patients and dental professionals. He was an associate professor at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He began focusing his practice on identification and treatment of periodontal disease, advanced bone preservation and grafting techniques, techniques for long-term stability of dental implants, treatment of compromised implants. He received his Masters in Periodontics and Dental Implant training from Indiana University. He has also completed a Master degree in Dental Biomaterials from University of Birmingham, Alabama.
Dr. Chandrakeerthi is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, Western Society of Periodontics, and the American Dental Association.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Chandrakeerthi enjoys the outdoors of Arizona with his wife, Lucy Kairalla and two daughters, Mahi and Navya, and that’s what brought them to Arizona.
